Data for the commencement of health insurance is submitted by the Social Insurance Board.
Insurance will commence upon making the entry into the health insurance database.
Insurance will be terminated when the conditions that give the right to health insurance are not fulfilled. Health insurance will be terminated one month after the registration as unemployed is terminated.
You can check the validity of your health insurance in the service ‘My current account with the Health Insurance Fund’ of the state portal eesti.ee, by phoning the Health Insurance Fund’s customer service (+372) 669 6630.
