The purpose of EHIF is to provide health insurance benefits, fund healthcare services and perform other tasks related to the organization of healthcare services in accordance with the Health Insurance Act, the Health Services Organization Act and other legislation. To achieve these objectives, EHIF must process personal data, including health data, financial data and other specific types of personal data.
The composition of data and personal data used by EHIF in its work is determined by legislation and resolutions found in the public document register.
