Conscripts
Conscripts and persons in alternative service are entitled to health insurance. Data is submitted to the Health Insurance Fund by the Defence Resources Agency and the Defence Forces.
Insurance will commence upon making the entry into the health insurance database.
Health insurance will be terminated one month after the state’s obligation to pay social tax is terminated. Data on the termination of insurance is submitted by the Defence Resources Agency and the Defence Forces.
You can check the validity of your health insurance in the service ‘My current account with the Health Insurance Fund’ of the state portal eesti.ee, by phoning the Health Insurance Fund’s customer service (+372) 669 6630.
