Beneficiaries of Estonian national pension
Beneficiaries of Estonian national pension are entitled to health insurance. The data is submitted by the Social Insurance Board.

Insurance will commence upon making the entry into the health insurance database.
- upon the termination of state pension payments
- 3 months after the capacity for work is restored in the case of pensioners for incapacity for work
You can check the validity of your health insurance in the service ‘My current account with the Health Insurance Fund’ of the state portal eesti.ee, by phoning the Health Insurance Fund’s customer service (+372) 669 6630.
